Bosch admitted the offence and accepted the sanction. This was the first offence for Bosch, who was making his 11th international appearance.Bosch was found to have breached Article 2.5 of the ICC code of conduct for players and support personnel. Bosch finished the match with 3 for 20 from three overs to help South Africa level the three-match series with a 53-run win.After South Africa’s batting failed in the first T20I, Dewald Brevis’ unbeaten 125, off just 56 balls, powered them to 218 for 7. Bosch and Kwena Maphaka then picked up three wickets each as South Africa skittled Australia for 165.The final T20I will be played in Cairns on Saturday, followed by a three-match ODI series.
